Mostert Preparing for Second Career?

Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert Taking Part in NFL Broadcast Boot Camp

Raheem Mostert was the Miami Dolphins recipient of the 2024 Good Guy Award, given to the player for his work and cooperation for the media, so maybe we shouldn't be surprised about what he's doing this week.

The running back, fresh off his first Pro Bowl appearance, is in Los Angeles taking part in the annual NFL Broadcasting & Media Workshop (previously known as the Broadcast Bootcamp) getting a feel for what life as a media member might entail.

Mostert is among 24 players taking part in the camp this week after being selected among all those who applied. Other participants include recently retired defensive back Logan Ryan and longtime NFL backup quarterback Chase Daniel.

The three-day session allows participants to call a game on radio or television and work in the studio as an analyst.

Among the recent participants of this event was Jason McCourty, who closed out his NFL career with one season with the Dolphins in 2021 before becoming an analyst (and a very good one) on "Good Morning Football" on NFL Network.

Mostert, who recently signed a contract extension through the 2025, followed tackle Terron Armstead, wide receiver Mack Hollins and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick as winner of the Good Guy Award, voted on by the South Florida chapter of the Professional Football Writers of American (PFWA).

Mostert is heading into his third full season with the Dolphins in his return after a one-game stint in 2015.
