'I'm Done': Eagles Legend DeSean Jackson Teasing Retirement?

Philadelphia Eagles' all-time great receiver DeSean Jackson is considering hanging up his cleats after 15 seasons in the NFL and eight years with the Eagles.

Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson teased his retirement on the I AM ATHLETE Podcast today alongside co-host Brandon Marshall.

"I'm done," Jackson said, cutting off Marshall as he alluded to Jackson potentially playing another season before looking uneasy as their guest spoke on the scariness of retirement.

That small moment in the episode continues the lack of decisiveness Jackson has approached his retirement with.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated last year, Jackson said it would take a particular situation for him to play again next season.

"If the right situation calls, a great quarterback, not just a good [quarterback]," Jackson said. "There's a few teams [I'd play for]: The Chiefs, maybe one. The Browns. Russell Wilson in Denver. Green Bay ... We'll see for sure."

The now 36-year-old wide receiver enjoyed three Pro Bowl seasons with the Eagles after they drafted the speedster out of California in 2008 at No. 49 overall.

As a veteran, Jackson noted his uncomfortably playing last season alongside and against young players that would introduce themselves to him and talk about how they grew up watching him before games.

Upon entering the league, Jackson established himself as an explosive player capable of burning defenses and special teams as a receiver or returner.

Over the span of Jackson's career, he's recorded 11,263 receiving yards, and 66 touchdowns, proving himself as one of the greatest deep threats in NFL history. He's currently 37th on the NFL's all-time receiving yardage list.

He crossed the thousand-yard threshold as a receiver five times, with the bulk of his greatest seasons coming in Philly.

In 2014, Jackson was coming off the best year of his NFL career with 82 receptions, 1,332 receiving yards, and nine receiving touchdowns before he and the Eagles parted ways.

Outside of his eight seasons in Philadelphia, Jackson would play for Washington, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Rams, Las Vegas Raiders, and spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens.

Jackson set the standard for deep threats, holding the record for most touchdowns over 60 yards in league history.

With the NFL Draft approaching on Thursday, players known for their long speed, such as Tennessee's Jalin Hyatt, can only hope to carve out careers like the former All-Pro Jackson.
