Eagles QB Jalen Hurts Addresses Sideline Argument with A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles stars Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown got into a back-and-forth argument that was broken up by coach Nick Sirianni during the second half of Thursday's win over the Minnesota Vikings.

There can't always be "brotherly love" for the Philadelphia Eagles. Even as they moved to 2-0 following Thursday's 34-28 win over the Minnesota Vikings at home, not everyone was completely happy.

In the second half on Thursday, Eagles stars Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown got into a back-and-forth argument on the sidelines that was broken up by coach Nick Sirianni. Brown and Hurts both got in each others faces, with the former apparently being upset with the latter.

While Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith had a stellar night with four catches for 131 yards and a touchdown, Brown finished with just four grabs for 29 yards, his lowest regular-season yardage total since Week 10 of last season.

Sirianni declined to reveal what was said on the sideline, saying that he'd rather keep those things private.

But while it's unclear exactly what Hurts and Brown were arguing about, Hurts seemed to admit that it came down to a lack of usage in the passing game.

"I think everybody wants to make plays and everybody wants to contribute," Hurts said. "I have no worry about him. He's a great player, a great teammate, a great friend and we will do anything and everything to win."

Eagles center Jason Kelce said postgame that he didn't mind seeing some back-and-forth on the sideline.

"You want guys talking," Kelce said. "We know we should be playing better than we are."

A.J. Bron and Jalen Hurts celebrate Brown's 7th TD catch of the season

Despite being 2-0, it's clear the Eagles have high standards for themselves. Both Brown and Hurts want to win and make it back to another Super Bowl, so some emotions running high throughout the season is understandable. Hurts and Brown were also already friends before the latter was traded to Philly last offseason, so one small argument is unlikely to impact anything in the long run.

The Eagles will now have an extra long week before taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium on Monday, Sept. 25.
