When the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs met in Super Bowl LVII, it felt like the Kelce brothers -- Jason and Travis -- were having their moment in the sun. As it turns out, sharing the biggest sporting stage in the country was simply their arrival as A-list celebrities.

The two teams will meet at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 11, with their Monday Night Football matchup a rematch of the 38-35 victory that Travis and the Chiefs secured in February. Philadelphia is 8-1, while the Chiefs are 7-2, so these two teams could very well be on a collision course for their second Super Bowl meeting in as many years.

And yet, the biggest story to come out of this game may be Travis' girlfriend -- Taylor Swift -- attending the game likely wearing Chiefs garb. This is notable because Swift is from West Reading, Pennsylvania and was seemingly an Eagles fan before beginning to date Travis. To most people, her change in fandom will be understandable, but there will no doubt be an attempt to drum up some faux-outrage about her rooting against the Eagles Monday.

In any event, the Kelce brothers have become two of the faces of the NFL in the twilights of their respective careers, and the reach of both appears to have extended beyond the sporting world. The pet site Rover.com recently did a study on the most popular dog names, and the surname of the two NFL stars has apparently skyrocketed in use.

"Americans love football-inspired names. Kelce is the No. 1 top-trending dog name in America (up 135%), likely inspired by the Kelce brothers, who faced off at last year’s Super Bowl," Rover.com wrote. "Travis Kelce, is also dating Taylor Swift, which may be contributing to the trend."

Naming your dog after either Kelce brother if you're a huge football fan is likely safe because both are so deep into their careers that it's hard to imagine their legacies as players changing for the worse. Travis is one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history, and will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer when his career concludes. Jason is one of the best players in the history of his position, and the five-time All-Pro has a real chance to be enshrined in Canton with his younger brother.

However, if you're a Swiftie and naming your dog Kelce after Travis, you may be playing with fire. If the two ever break up, that name could age worse than those in the Delaware Valley who named pets "Carson" and "Ben" six or so years ago.
