Eagles Agree to Terms with Rookie S K'Von Wallace

The Eagles and rookie safety K'Von Wallace have agreed to terms on a four-year rookie deal, according to an NFL source.
The impending signing was hinted at by Wallace on Twitter and the Eagles confirmed it Monday afternoon.
A fourth-round pick out of Clemson at No. 127 overall, the 5-foot-11, 206-pound Wallace was a versatile defensive back for the Tigers who started for two seasons and had at least one interception in all four of his years at Death Valley, including two last season when he played safety and a lot of big nickel where he was effective as a blitzing option from the slot.
"What makes me a great safety is the fact that you just get multiple positions out of me," Wallace said back in April. "I can play corner, nickel, safety, in the box. I can go blitz for you. I can do anything for my team. Put my best abilities in place to put my team in the best position to go out there and win games, win championships."
Wallace, who will get just over $4 million on his deal, fits the mold of the 'positionless player' sentiment Howie Roseman often talked about in the offseason much like Jalen Mills and Will Parks.
For now, Rodney McLeod is penciled in as Jim Schwartz's single-high safety and Mills will be taking over for the departed Malcolm Jenkins as the box safety.
Wallace joins Parks, a free-agent acquisition from Denver and a Philly native, as well as Rudy Ford, Marcus Epps, and undrafted rookies Grayland Arnold and Elijah Riley on the back end.
"I'm a guy that plays with passion, a guy that plays with a lot of heart, a guy that loves the game, a guy that's going to do everything he can to get the upper hand on my opponents, whether it's watching film or extra work after practice," Wallace said. "I'm just a guy that's hungry and is going to go get it."
Wallace is the fourth of 10 Eagles draft picks to agree to terms, joining sixth-rounders, offensive tackle Prince Tega Wanogho and receiver Quez Watkins, as well as first-round receiver Jalen Reagor, who signed on Monday.
The Eagles’ rookies are scheduled to report to the NovaCare Complex for training camp on Tuesday.
