Under the terms of the new CBA, Reagor, the 21st overall pick out of TCU, gets a four-year deal worth over $13 Million with guaranteed salaries of $2,412,850 in 2020, $3,016,063 in 2021, $3,619,276 in 2022 and $4,222,489 in 2023.

One of the perceived top four WRs in the draft was still on the board in LSU's Justin Jefferson when the Eagles were up in the first round back in April but Philadelphia went in a different direction with Reagor, a player with track speed, strong hands, and sharp route-running skills.

At 5-foot-11 and just under 200 pounds, Reagor is the type of space player Eagles VP of Player Personnel Andy Weidl hinted at when discussing the position as his pre-draft availability.

The organization was also enamored of Regor’s 4.47 stopwatch speed, his actual play speed as both a vertical and horizontal field-stretcher, along with his ability to play above the rim despite being a tad undersized due to a 40-inch vertical leap.

"We knew there were a lot of talented receivers in this [class] and there’s a lot of different flavors," general manager Howie Roseman said. "This is the one we felt could really help our football team in multiple ways."

Reagor's father, Monte, played nine seasons at defensive tackle in the NFL, including a stint with the Eagles in 2007, and that pedigree is something NFL scouts also liked.

Doug Pederson indicated that the Eagles plan to start Reagor out at the Z position behind DeSean Jackson.

“We'll keep him at one position to start and we'll grow from there,” Pederson said back in June.

Like all rookies, Reagor will have likely a difficult time playing early die to the COVID-19 pandemic erasing an on-field offseason.

“It's the hardest thing we are dealing with our younger players is not having the grass time in the off-season,” Pederson admitted. “But right now, he's going to come in and he's going to learn one position and he is going to learn from DeSean Jackson, and learn everything he can.

“Obviously the playbook is extensive and we just have to see what he's taken from the off-season to training camp, and then once we see his potential and his growth, then we can use him in multiple spots.”
