GAMEDAY: Eagles-Cowboys Live Updates/Blog

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES....
FIRST QUARTER (continued)
Eagles bailed out on personal foul for roughing Carson Wentz on third down incompletion. Jaylon Smith clubs Wentz on head.
4:28: Eagles get on the board. Travel 87 yards with 5 running plays. Joran Howard chewing up the yards. Get 28 yard TD pass from Wentz to Goedert. It is Wentz's 13th TD pass of season.
.@cj_wentz lofts a perfect pass to Dallas Goedert for the score! #FlyEaglesFly

NOTE: It all starts with a pass rush on defense and Eagles just don't have one. Not sure how you fix that at this point. Not even sure a trade will do it. It will be a liability all season.
As soon as I mention deficient pass rush, Eagles get sack from Derek Barnett, his third of season, and great pressure from Josh Sweat to force Dallas punt.
SECOND QUARTER
After one quarter, Jordan Howard has 7 carries for 36 yards; Zeke Elliott has 7 carries for 33 yards.
Eagles LB Nate Gerry is a liability in this game
6:40: Cowboys go up 21-7 on easiest TD pass you will see to Blake Jarwin who was wide open for 1-yard TD catch.
4:51 Eagles DT Hassan Ridgeway, who has played well in the past two games, is heading to locker room
Eagles tight end Zach Ertz still has not been targeted in this game.
Hassan Ridgeway (knee) is questionable to return
Eagles look like they are off the field on third down but hands to face on Malcolm Jenkins gives Dallas autmatic first down. On next play Cooper catch for 46 yards. And Dallas looking to get more points before half then receive kickoff to start second half. For second week in a row, this is about to get ugly.
That 46 yard reception by Cooper was the 8th pass of more than 40 yards the Eagles have given up this season. Most in NFL
1:31: Cowboys add to lead with field goal and it's 24-7
Half ends on 63 yard field goal by Dallas and it's 27-7. This one is over already.
The Eagles had hoped to go at least 2-1 on this three-game road trip. This loss will leave them at 0-2 and staring at an 0-3 trip with the one-loss Bills next week.
Eagles are being shredded at halftime. Two early fumbles killed them, but this defnse is a mess and the offensive line has allowed three sacks. There are no threats on this offense, no playmakers.
To think that a trade is going to help this team make the playoffs is misguided. There are too many needs.
Cowboys had 266 yards of total offense in first half to just 95 for Eagles.
THIRD QUARTER
Eagles get back to back sacks. First to Hassan Ridgeway then Fletcher Cox gets first of season.
4:59: Eagles cut their defict to 17 on field goal. Yippee!
FOURTH QUARTER
12:36: It's now 30-10 after Cowboy add field goal
12:30: Zach Ertz makes second catch of game
Jalen Mills notches an INT in his first game in nearly a year. Very athletic pick in end zone. Cowboys were trying to rub some salt in wound there with deep throw. Don't blame them, really, except these two teams will play again this year. Something maybe Eagles will file away.
FINAL: Cowboys 27, Eagles 10. Eagles head to 5-2 Buffalo next week on the third and final stop of their three-game road trip. They are 3-4 and in second place in the NFC East.
