Overreactions From Day 10 of Eagles Training Camp: Eli Stowers Set For TE2 Role?

In this story:
Hard to believe, but the Philadelphia Eagles are through 10 training camp practices.
There have been plenty of developments over the first 10 practices open to the media, and practice 10 had no shortage of storylines. preparation and game tape come into play, a sthe Eagles get set to fac ethe Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 of the preseaosn Saturday night.
With this practice, a few observations came into play. Thanks to observations, we have overreactions.
Which overreactions are overreactions and which are reality?
Eli Stowers will be TE2 come Week 1
Overreaction or reality: Overreaction
Stowers had a good practice on Tuesday, making a few strong catches and becoming a valuable red zone target in this offense. He's had a string of a few good practices , which is a massive improvement over the poor start to this camp.
Stowers isn't under the "losers" section of camp anymore. He has bene improving over the past week, enough where there should be some consideration for the TE2 role over Johnny Mundt. Is Stowers ready for that job?
If Stowers continues to improve and makes plays in the preseason, he'll get out of the disappointing rookie class. Stowers has shown a lot of positive gains in the past few practices, a very encouraging sign for the Eagles.
Elijah Moore should make the roster
Overreaction or reality: Reality
Moore had the highlight play of Tuesday's practice, catching a long touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts. This is the type of deep ball prowess the Eagles are seeking from one of the wideouts in their offense.
Every day, Moore is making a case to be on this roster. He should be on the 53 over Hollywood Brown if we stopped the count after 10 practices. Moore just keeps getting better and better as the practices wear on, even now he's catching deep passes in these sessions.
There's a lot to like about Moore, who runs smooth routes and has been making good catches when Hurts targets him. He could be the WR5 on this team, and he's also a veteran (like Brown).
If the choice right now is between Moore and Brown, Moore gets the nod.
Ty Robinson is playing his way off the roster bubble
Overreaction or reality: Reality
Robinson has been another player that has had his fair share of criticism. He's had a slow start to this training camp and also found himself into the cut candidates section, but that may be changing.
Not only did Robinson have a sack on Tuesday, but he's been getting into the backfield of late. This is a positive development from a player who was stuck on the third team the majority of camp. Robinson still has a ways to go, but has this in his back pocket.
Being a fourth-round draft pick form last season buys you some time. Robinson is getting the benefit of the doubt here, and he'll likely make the roster if he shows enough improvements. Right now, that seems to be the case.
Cooper DeJean is the starting safety on the Eagles
Overreaction or reality: Overreaction
Boy did this blow up for no reason. DeJean was listed as the starting safety on the Eagles depth chart (which is complied by the communications department), but that is partially true.
DeJean is the starting safety in the base defense, which the Eagles run less than 20% of the time. He goes to the nickel defense, which the Eagles run over 80% of the time. When DeJena is in nickel, either Marcus Epps or Michael Carter are the starting safeties -- a battle that is still going on.
The depth chart is the depth chart, but the Eagles have DeJean in the slot for a reason. No need to overreact here.
