Can Atlanta Falcons Make Deion Sanders' NFL Draft Dream Come True?

In a recent behind-the-scenes video, former Atlanta Falcons star and current Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders revealed his NFL Draft dream for his sons Shedeur and Shilo.

Since the arrival of former Atlanta Falcons cornerback Deion Sanders as the coach of the Colorado Buffalos, he has never failed to stay in the spotlight. Whether the headlines were about Sanders' decisions in roster-building in the offseason or his response to the critics, he is seemingly always in the news.

However, the latest story out of Boulder, Colorado, isn't necessarily focused on Sanders. Rather, the news is more about his two sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, both members of Colorado's football team, and specifically Deion's preferred team that he'd like to see his play together in the NFL.

In a video released to social media, the Hall of Fame cornerback is shown speaking with a scout from the Falcons. That is when Deion tells the scout to say to the camera what he told him about where he'd like to see his sons play.

"We ain’t coming back unless we bringing the Sanders boys to the A," Falcons scout Rich Sanders told the camera about Deion's statement.

Drafting at least one of the Sanders' is becoming a real possibility. Through the season's first six games for the Buffaloes, they've been led by the youngest of the two, Shedeur, their quarterback.

Shedeur has already thrown for 2,020 yards and 16 touchdowns, with just two interceptions, while completing 72.7 percent of his passes. After an impressive and maybe surprising 4-0 start for Colorado just a season after winning one game, Shedeur was beginning not only to garner conversations about being a candidate for the Heisman Trophy but even as a possible first-round pick in the NFL Draft.

While Shedeur continues to garner the attention that comes with being a quarterback and being the son of a Hall of Famer cornerback, Shilo, a safety, is flying under the radar with 32 tackles, one forced fumble, and an interception.

So what are the chances the Falcons get either of the Sanders' or, better yet, both? If Shedeur's play continues, it seems likely he'll be a Day 1 pick whenever he decides to leave Boulder. On the other hand, Shilo's stock is uncertain, possibly making it more likely for him to be a realistic target for the Falcons.
