Atlanta Falcons Notify PSL Owners About 2020 Season Options

With NFL returning, the biggest question is will fans be allowed? The Atlanta Falcons emailed their season ticket holders on what they can expect.

Training camp starts later this month.

The Hall of Fame game has been cancelled.

Preseason on the verge of cancellation.

What about the regular season?

The Atlanta Falcons sent an email to PSL owners on Thursday outlining their plan for refunds, the possibility of fans attending and what the game day experience will look like.

A PSL or Personal seat license, gives the owner the right to purchase season tickets for their seat(s).

Refunds

The Falcons are allowing fans to make the best decision for their families by providing various options.

They are allowing PSL owners to either apply money paid towards the 2021 season, use it to pay down their PSL balance or possibly put towards attending this season's football games.

The Falcons are also allowing fans to defer their current PSL payments to the end of their term agreement.

Fan's seat location will also be secured for the 2021 season whether or not a fan chooses to attend in 2020.

Potential Fan Attendance

The Falcons provided a glimpse on what the selection process may be for fans who want to attend games this season. Fans will be asked to feel out a survey to determine which games they wish to attend.

According to the email, “Based on those survey results, the club will hold a drawing allowing members an opportunity to attend select home games if that is ultimately allowed by the NFL and local authorities amid the current circumstances around each game. “

GameDay experience

Like everything else in our daily lives the game day will be different for fans. The NFL may be one of the first team sports to allow fans in attendance.

Steve Cannon, AMB and Sports and Entertainment CEO wrote , “As we have been preparing for the opportunity to play in front of fans, the NFL and government regulations are requiring changes in game-day operations. Some expected changes include, but are not limited to limited capacity seating, mandatory face coverings, the absence of pre-game and halftime activities and other measures to ensure the health and safety of our players, coaches, staff and you, our fans."

The Falcons are just the latest NFL team to offer options for their fans and what fan attendance in 2020 may require.
