Falcons Make Front Office Changes, Promote Ryan Pace

In this story:
The Atlanta Falcons are making a few changes to their front office.
According to CBS Sports, two high-ranking officials in the Falcons front office are receiving promotions.
"The Falcons have promoted Kyle Smith to assistant GM, sources say. Smith has been with the Falcons since 2021 and had previously spent his career in Washington," CBS Sports tweeted.
"Atlanta also promoted former Bears GM Ryan Pace to director of player personnel. Pace had been a sr. personnel exec."
Smith, 37, worked with Washington in a number of different roles from 2011-20, but moved to Atlanta in 2021. As the assistant general manager, he will work directly next to Terry Fontenot.
Pace, 46, has been with the Falcons since February 2022. He served as the general manager of the Chicago Bears from 2015-21 and is the primary reason behind the pipeline between the two teams.
Since Pace's arrival, Atlanta has signed Damiere Byrd, Nick Kwiatkoski, Eddie Goldman and Germain Ifedi, all of whom have previous ties with the Bears.
The promotions for Smith and Pace show signs that the organization is pleased with the efforts shown during the rebuild. Atlanta is in far better shape than it was two years ago, and with these people at the top, there's hope that the Falcons can go even further.
