Falcons RB Kenjon Barner, G Jamon Brown inactive against Texans

The Atlanta Falcons will once again be without running back Kenjon Barner and punter Matt Bosher for the second straight week, but guard Jamon Brown will also be inactive against the Houston Texans in Week 5 on Sunday.

Brown suffered a concussion last Sunday in the loss against the Tennessee Titans.

The offensive line will be missing both starting guards against the Texans. Even though Houston traded Jadeveon Clowney before the season, the Texans still have a very formidable defensive front with J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus. At 29 years old, Mercilus is off to the best start in his career, as he has a sack in every game and leads the league with four forced fumbles. He already has more sacks this season than he had all of last year.

Offensive tackle Kaleb McGary and center Alex Mack are active and expected to start, but both have been banged up this season. Without two starters along the line and two more less than 100 percent, it could be a very long day for the Falcons offense, who desperately needs to establish a rushing attack.

Without Bosher for a second straight game, the Falcons signed Matt Wile this week. Wile will punt for Atlanta in Houston.

Like last week, Brian Hill is active to replace Barner. Mohamed Sanu is once again expected to return kickoffs and punts in Barner's place.

Here are all of Atlanta's inactives:

RB Kenjon Barner
CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson
RB Qadree Ollison
RG Jamon Brown
WR Olamide Zaccheaus
DT Deadrin Senat
