2024 NFL Draft: Alabama CB Terrion Arnold Takes Top-30 Visit With Jaguars

The Jaguars are doing their homework on one of the top cornerbacks in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are casting a wide net at the cornerback position with their official top-30 visits, with the latest being one of the top players at the position.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Terrion Arnold visted with the Jaguars on Wednesday. The Jaguars have had several cornerbacks in for visits over the last several weeks, showing a potential emphasis to add to the position.

Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke said at the NFL Scouting combine the Jaguars would add to the position this offseason, which became even more prevalent when the Jaguars released starting cornerback Darious Williams.

The Jaguars did add veteran cornerback Ronald Darby in free agency, along with signing defensive back Darnell Savage, who Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said would factor into the nickel role.

"I feel good. I do feel good. Ronald Darby who we had in Philly, added that piece. With Tyson [Campbell] back there and now with Darnell [Savage], adding that mix. We've got, as we mentioned Antonio [Johnson] and we've got some young players that have played, Montaric [Brown] and stuff like that," Pederson said at the league meetings.

"It's a passing league so you've got to have defenders and you've got to have guys that can cover the pass, but you also have guys too in our division there's no shortage of running backs so they're going to have to be physical and tackle as well. But I feel like we've improved and we still have the draft ahead of us so we'll see where this thing shakes out.”
