Jaguars add 6 to practice squad

After the Jacksonville Jaguars made four new additions to their 53-man roster Sunday, they signed six players to their practice squad.

After a busy weekend filled with cuts, signings and trades, all 32 NFL teams have begun to set their practice squads and prepare their teams for week 1. Like the rest of the league, the Jacksonville Jaguars made practice squad additions after signing four new players to their 53-man roster on Sunday.

The following players are signed to the Jaguars practice squad:

  • Offensive lineman Ka'John Armstrong:
  • Cornerback Tae Hayes:
  • Running back Elijah Hood:
  • Tight end Charles Jones:
  • Wide receiver Michael Walker:
  • Cornerback Brandon Watson:

This is a solid group to start, as Hood, Hayes, Jones and Watson all impressed at different points of training camp and preseason. The Jaguars still have four open practice squad spots, and expect one of those to be filled by a quarterback soon.
