Jaguars Rookie Review: Updates on Each 2023 Draft Pick After Week 11 Win vs. Titans

At this time in most NFL rookies' seasons, they are facing potential rookie walls. The NFL season is significantly longer than your traditional college season, meaning the days and weeks are getting longer and more challenging for each rookie.

For the Jacksonville Jaguars' veteran roster, they perhaps don't have as much to worry about as other teams. But the Jaguars' rookies are still important to their success each week, such as in Week 11's 34-14 win over the Tennessee Titans.

So, how did each rookie play in the win? We break it down below.

1st, No. 27: OT Anton Harrison, Oklahoma

One of only two offensive players (along with Luke Fortner) to play all 71 offensive snaps, rookie right tackle Anton Harrison had another week of challenges. He faced a solid pass-rusher group with Denico Autry, Arden Key and Harold Landry, while he also saw his fair share of reps vs. Jeffery Simmons. Harrison ultimately allowed three pressures and had a so-so game on paper, though head coach Doug Pederson seemed happy with his progress on Monday.

2nd, No. 61: TE Brenton Strange, Penn State

It is clear what role the Jaguars envisioned Brenton Strange in for Week 11. Strange played 27 snaps, and 22 of those came as a blocker: 20 on running downs and two on passing downs. Strange didn't see a target in the passing game, but his impact as a blocker and the Jaguars' dedication to the running game played a big part in the win.

3rd, No. 88: RB Tank Bigsby, Auburn

Tank Bigsby recorded nine carries for 21 yards on Sunday, though eight of his carries came at the end of the game when the Jaguars put their backups in the contest. Bigsby did have an early special teams penalty on 4th-and-6 that helped the Titans convert for a new series of downs, but he also helped the Jaguars pick up a 4th-and-short on the game's final drive to ice the game away and pick up some confidence.

4th, No. 121: LB Ventrell Miller, Florida

Ventrell Miller is on injured reserve and is not on the active roster.

4th, No. 130: DL Tyler Lacy, Oklahoma State

Tyler Lacy stayed in the active lineup for the second week in a row, playing nine snaps and recording two tackles. Lacy played five snaps vs. the run and four as a pass-rusher, though he didn't get many snaps as a pass-rusher against a true drop-back offense. Lacy is coming along at the expected pace for a Day 3 rookie.

5th, No. 136: EDGE/LB Yasir Abdullah, Louisville

Yasir Abdullah was a healthy scratch in Week 11.

5th, No. 160: DB Antonio Johnson, Texas A&M

Antonio Johnson played just one snap on defense at the end of the game, but he continued to perform a key special role. He played 48% of the special teams snaps and recorded a tackle on the coverage team, bouncing back from some rookie moments on special teams in the previous week.

6th, No. 185: WR Parker Washington, Penn State

After spending the previous six games on injured reserve due to a knee injury, Parker Washington made his return in Week 11 vs. the Titans. Washington replaced Jamal Agnew as the team's primary punt returner, though he didn't record a punt return on Sunday. Washington also played 10 snaps on offense, though most of them came at the end of the game and nine of his snaps were on running plays.

6th, No. 202: CB Christian Braswell, Rutgers

Christian Braswell is on injured reserve.

6th, No. 208: S Erick Hallett II, Pittsburgh

Erick Hallett is on the practice squad and was not active for Week 11.

7th, No. 226: OL Cooper Hodges, App. State

Cooper Hodges is on injured reserve.

7th, No. 227: DL Raymond Vohasek, UNC

Raymond Vohasek is not on the Jaguars' active roster or practice squad.

7th, No. 240: FB Derek Parish, Houston

Derek Parish is not on the Jaguars' active roster or practice squad.

UDFA: WR Elijah Cooks

Elijah Cooks was a healthy scratch and did not play in Week 11.
