Jaguars Rookie Review: Updates on Each 2023 Draft Pick After Week 12 Win vs. Texans

The Jacksonville Jaguars got their biggest win of the season in Week 12, knocking off the Houston Texans 24-21 in a must-win AFC South battle.
The win displayed just how battle-tested the Jaguars have become under head coach Doug Pederson, but what kind of impact did the youngest members of the roster have? We break it down below.
1st, No. 27: OT Anton Harrison, Oklahoma
Week 12 was a legit breakout performance from Anton Harrison. The young right tackle had his second heavyweight battle with No. 3 overall pick Will Anderson Jr, and Harrison more than held his own. The Jaguars helped him with some chips and some quick passes, but he largely was still left on an island and ended up allowing zero pressures on the day as Anderson had his least productive day rushing the passer as a pro.
Some Anton Harrison vs. Will Anderson one-on-ones. Some quick passes, but no clear losses. Jags did respect Anderson and chip him a few times with TEs on other downs https://t.co/M0JwPSev3R

Anton Harrison did not allow a pressure on any of his 19 matchups against Will Anderson in Week 12. He allowed just 1 pressure on 14 matchups in Week 2 vs Anderson.

Harrison has been left with 1-on-1 matchups on 85.2% of his pass blocks this season (1st among RT).#DUUUVAL pic.twitter.com/sm9nQ0q4zk
2nd, No. 61: TE Brenton Strange, Penn State
There wasn't much to see from Brenton Strange this week. He was used primarily as a blocker and as the Jaguars' No. 3 tight end, with Luke Farrell seeing more snaps and much more involvement in the passing game. Strange didn't receive a target for the second game in a row and has just one target in the last five weeks.
3rd, No. 88: RB Tank Bigsby, Auburn
It has looked like this was the case for a few weeks, but Tank Bigsby has been officially demoted to No. 3 running back. Even with Travis Etienne sitting out for a bit with a chest injury, Bigsby still played just two snaps and had only one carry, with D'Ernest Johnson instead playing around 30% of the defensive snaps.
4th, No. 121: LB Ventrell Miller, Florida
Ventrell Miller is on injured reserve and is not on the active roster.
4th, No. 130: DL Tyler Lacy, Oklahoma State
Tyler Lacy played just five snaps as the Jaguars went with fewer base formations and more nickel packages, which means fewer snaps are needed in the interior defensive line rotation.
5th, No. 136: EDGE/LB Yasir Abdullah, Louisville
Yasir Abdullah was a healthy scratch in Week 12.
5th, No. 160: DB Antonio Johnson, Texas A&M
Antonio Johnson didn't play a defensive snap this week, but he did tie for the team lead in special teams snaps, playing 81% of the special teams reps. He has become a core member of the Jaguars' special teams unit, which is a good result for a Day 3 pick.
6th, No. 185: WR Parker Washington, Penn State
Washington only played one snap on offense, but his 22-yard punt return in the first-half was his biggest play as a pro and an encouraging sign moving forward as he replaces Jamal Agnew in the short-term.
6th, No. 202: CB Christian Braswell, Rutgers
Christian Braswell is on injured reserve.
6th, No. 208: S Erick Hallett II, Pittsburgh
Erick Hallett is on the practice squad and was not active for Week 12.
7th, No. 226: OL Cooper Hodges, App. State
Cooper Hodges is on injured reserve.
7th, No. 227: DL Raymond Vohasek, UNC
Raymond Vohasek is not on the Jaguars' active roster or practice squad.
7th, No. 240: FB Derek Parish, Houston
Derek Parish is not on the Jaguars' active roster or practice squad.
UDFA: WR Elijah Cooks
Elijah Cooks was a healthy scratch and did not play in Week 12.
