Jaguars Rookie Review: Updates on Each 2023 Draft Pick After Week 18 Loss vs. Titans

How did each Jaguars rookie play in Week 18?

The Jacksonville Jaguars' rookie class had their final chance to leave a mark in their first season in Week 18,  but just how did the Jaguars rookies perform in the season finale loss? We break it down below.

1st, No. 27: OT Anton Harrison, Oklahoma

Anton Harrison allowed just one pressure on 45 pass blocking snaps, finishing his rookie season with one pressure allowed over the final three games and eight games with one pressure or fewer. It was a strong rookie season for Harrison, and this carried over to Week 18.

2nd, No. 61: TE Brenton Strange, Penn State

Brenton Strange played just 12 snaps on Sunday, blocking on nine of them. This included seven run-blocking snaps, with Strange seemingly playing fullback in some instances, such as on the final fourth down of the game. 

3rd, No. 88: RB Tank Bigsby, Auburn

Tank Bigsby may have only played nine snaps and gotten three carries, but he may have had the best game of his career so far. Bigsby rushed three times for 16 yards and had a key short-yardage carry late in the game, while also recording nine of his yards after contact. Bigsby ran angry and could have had the chance to be a hero if Trevor Lawrence didn't run his quarterback sneak on fourth down.

4th, No. 121: LB Ventrell Miller, Florida

Ventrell Miller is on injured reserve.

4th, No. 130: DL Tyler Lacy, Oklahoma State

Tyler Lacy only played eight snaps in the season finale, playing sparingly despite the Jaguars frequently having five-man fronts. With that said, he did record one of the Jaguars' seven quarterback hits on one of his only three pass-rush snaps.

5th, No. 136: EDGE/LB Yasir Abdullah, Louisville

Yasir Abdullah was a healthy scratch in Week 18.

5th, No. 160: DB Antonio Johnson, Texas A&M

Antonio Johnson played 23 snaps in the final game of an impressive rookie campaign, recording two tackles and two receptions for 20 yards on three targets. Washington wasn't as involved this week since it was a run-heavy script, playing his smallest share of snaps since Week 14. 

6th, No. 185: WR Parker Washington, Penn State

The Jaguars seemed to go with more three-receiver looks in Week 18, with Parker Washington playing a season-high 68% of the offensive snaps. Washington ran 35 snaps and caught one pass for 11 yards, while also recording a 14-yard punt return in the second half. 

6th, No. 202: CB Christian Braswell, Rutgers

Christian Braswell is on injured reserve.

6th, No. 208: S Erick Hallett II, Pittsburgh

Erick Hallett is on the practice squad.

7th, No. 226: OL Cooper Hodges, App. State

Cooper Hodges is on injured reserve.

7th, No. 227: DL Raymond Vohasek, UNC

Raymond Vohasek is not on the Jaguars' active roster or practice squad.

7th, No. 240: FB Derek Parish, Houston

Derek Parish is not on the Jaguars' active roster or practice squad.

UDFA: WR Elijah Cooks

Cooks only played nine snaps in the season finale, with the most notable play being a holding penalty on the first play of the second drive. Cooks didn't see a target in Lawrence's 43 dropbacks, running five routes and blocking on four other reps.
