Take that New York Jets' full-team mock draft from yesterday and send it into the recycle bin.

The Jets got their starting quarterback, and, as expected, had to surrender 2023 draft capital in order to complete the deal.

While agreeing to a trade for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Joe Douglas and Co. sent three 2023 draft picks (No. 13, No. 42, No. 207) to the Green Bay Packers

Green Bay also gets a conditional draft pick in 2024. That selection will be no worse than a second-rounder, but the value jumps up to Round 1 if Rodgers plays at least 65 percent of Jets' offensive snaps this upcoming season.

In addition to the future Hall-of-Fame quarterback, Gang Green received the Packers' 2023 first-round (No. 15) and fifth-round (No. 170) selections.

In the aftermath of it all, the Jets are left holding five total picks in the 2023 NFL Draft. New York will hit the clock once in Rounds 1, 2 and 4 before taking two turns in Round 5.

The 2023 NFL Draft will unfold over three days (April 27-29) in Kansas City.

Only Round 1 will transpire on Thursday, April 27 with 31 total selections (the Miami Dolphins do not possess a first-rounder). Rounds 2 and 3 are set for April 28 with the final four rounds happening on April 29.

Teams will have 10 minutes each to make a first-round selection. The time clock drops to seven minutes during Round 2. The allotment is six minutes per pick in Rounds 3 through 6 and teams have only four minutes on the clock in Round 7.

Reinforcing the trenches on both sides of the ball headlines the list of current Jets' draft needs. Adding help at safety and young talent to the linebacking corps is likely on the agenda at some point this weekend.

The Jets' No. 15 overall selection lies in between the New England Patriots at No. 14 and the Washington Commanders at No. 16. Depending on how many quarterbacks go off the board in the Top 10, one of the three top-tier offensive tackles could still be available when Gang Green hits the clock two picks later than originally scheduled.
