New York Jets fans will turn up and tune in on Tuesdays in August.

HBO and NFL Films unveiled the episode release dates for the annual "Hard Knocks" documentary series and viewers will get an intimate look at Gang Green for five consecutive Tuesday evenings beginning on August 8.

With four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers now handling quarterback duties, the Jets are attracting a high level of attention and excitement heading into the 2023 season. According to SI Sportsbook, only five teams are currently more likely than the 14-to-1 Jets to win Super Bowl LVIII.

As an important training camp unfolds in Florham Park, the TV production crew will be there to document it all and share the experience with HBO viewers.

HARD KNOCKS: Training Camp with the New York Jets —a five-episode series— kicks off Tuesday, August 8 (10:00-11:00 pm ET) on HBO and will be available to stream on Max. Four one-hour-long episodes will subsequently debut each Tuesday, at the same time, through the September 5 finale.

As Robert Saleh's team works toward ending a 12-year postseason drought, it will have cameras recording every move, but the increased attention hasn't noticeably hampered the featured franchises over the years. In fact, one could argue that a "Hard Knocks" bounce exists.

After the Jets last participated in 2010, Rex Ryan's team posted an 11-5 regular season record and advanced to the AFC Championship Game for the second year in a row.

“The 2010 Jets changed the profile and the success of Hard Knocks forever. That Jets team made football fun for fans. And now we are excited for a new partnership with this iconic organization and HBO to create another chapter in both NFL and television history filled with great personalities and a roster striving to reach new heights of success," said NFL Films Executive Producer Patrick Kelleher in a press release on Monday.

The last six "Hard Knocks" participants all subsequently experienced win total improvements in the regular season.

Since 2009, there have been 11 "Hard Knocks" teams who saw their win total increase from the prior season. Only two teams suffered a drop-off and one team posted the same record over that span.
