Final Injury Report: Tomlinson and Tippmann Good to Go vs. Bolts, but Two Additions Emerge

Safety and receiver pop up as questionable ahead of Monday Night Football

Left tackle Duane Brown isn't ready to return yet, but the New York Jets' starting offensive guards have received the all clear for the Monday Night Football matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

In two positive developments on the final injury report, left guard Laken Tomlinson and right guard Joe Tippmann participated fully in Saturday's practice and do not carry a designation prior to gameday. Tomlinson first appeared on the injury report on Thursday due to a hamstring issue that stems back to the Week 8 win over the New York Giants. Tippmann injured his quad in the Week 6 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles and returned to practice this week.

Tippmann may earn the start at center on Monday being that Connor McGovern and Wes Schweitzer have landed on Injured Reserve. Practice Squad member Xavier Newman, who finished last Sunday's game as the center, is also an option.

Brown, who is recovering from a hip problem that resulted in an IR stint, began practicing again over the past few days but has been ruled out ahead of the MNF matchup. Prevented from practicing due to an ankle, linebacker Chazz Surratt will miss Monday's game, too.

There were two new additions to Saturday's injury report with safety Adrian Amos and receiver Allen Lazard showing up as limited participants. They are both questionable to face the Chargers.

Receivers Randall Cobb and Irvin Charles, who were gameday inactives last week due to shoulder problems, were full participants on Saturday and will be available this week.

Wide receiver Joshua Palmer, who was a DNP all week while battling through a knee issue, is the lone Chargers' player that has been ruled out. Tight end Gerald Everett (hip), who was inactive against Chicago last week, was a full participant as was quarterback Justin Herbert (left finger). They are both prepared to play against the Jets.

The Jets will host the Chargers in the final game of the NFL's Week 9 slate on November 6 at 8:20 pm ET.
