Frank Ragnow Not Spotted at Tuesday Practice

Detroit Lions center Frank Ragnow was listed as full participant Monday.

Detroit Lions center Frank Ragnow was the only player not accounted for during the team's open portion of practice Tuesday, which took place indoors.

The veteran center was listed as a full participant in Monday's practice with a toe injury.

Ragnow has previously indicated that he will not have surgery on his toe. The training staff has done a great job of allowing him to get out on the field and avoiding further injury.

It is expected that Ragnow will play in the opener, but will be regularly listed on the injury report as he works to maintain his health and prepare to lead the offensive line.

Quieting Arrowhead crowd

For Lions head coach Dan Campbell, quieting the crowd at Arrowhead Stadium will indicate that the team is executing at a high level.

"The only ones rooting for you are your own guys, your coaches, and everybody else is dying for you to mess it up, to make mistakes, so they can jump on it and have a good time," said Campbell. "I think our job, and what they should really relish in, is quiet the crowd. That, to me, is the ultimate, if you can quiet the crowd, because you're making plays and you're just hanging in there, that's really the goal. Because it means you're doing some good things."

Former Lions offensive lineman Tyrell Crosby officially announced his retirement from the NFL Tuesday.

The Oregon product hasn't played since being waived by Detroit in 2021, and has since franchised an insurance brokerage firm in his hometown of Henderson, Nev.

He made his announcement in a social media post, in which he wrote of his life changes since suffering a career-ending injury to his spine.
