The second set of Senior Bowl practices will be televised on Wednesday afternoon.

ESPNU will broadcast practice from Mobile, Ala., from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

ESPN2 will resume coverage of the second practice of the afternoon from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Ohio State offensive tackle Dawand Jones generated the most buzz on Day 1 of practices.

Standing at 6-foot-8 and weighing 359 pounds, talent evaluators marveled at his ability to drive back talented defensive linemen all afternoon.

His 89.5 inch wing span represents the longest ever measured at the Senior Bowl.

If his level of play continues, Jones could find himself quickly moving up NFL teams' draft boards.

Locally, Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Hendon Hooker chatting with Lions assistant general manager Ray Agnew caught the attention of supporters.

Speaking with reporters, the talented quarterback expressed he would relish any opportunity to develop under an established NFL starter.

"I'd be ecstatic. It's a blessing to be in this position that I'm in. Not a lot of people get to be in this position," Hooker told reporters, when asked about the potential of waiting to become a starter. "So, either way it goes, I'm gonna come in, be a sponge, soak up all the information that I can, learn. And, when it's my time to go on the field, I'm gonna take advantage of my opportunity."
