Lions' Emmanuel Moseley Week 1 Status Uncertain

In this story:
The Detroit Lions may be without one of their free agent cornerbacks to start the 2023 NFL season.
Emmanuel Moseley missed the start of training camp due to reportedly undergoing a second "clean-up" procedure.
Recall, Moseley suffered a torn ACL last season, when he was a member of the San Francisco 49ers.
After practice on Day 11, local reporters caught up with the 27-year-old, after he spent the morning observing the team's practice.
"I’m feeling good," Moseley said, via the Free Press. "I just needed a little bit more time. But yeah, I’m feeling pretty good."

The talented defensive back declined to confirm if he underwent a second procedure this offseason.
Moseley noted, "I don’t want to go deeper into kind of what happened or whatever, but just know right now I’m feeling pretty good. I’m really, really excited where I’m at right now and I’ll be out there soon."
Head coach Dan Campbell noted earlier in camp that the timetable for his return may be longer than expected, putting his availability for the team's Week 1 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs in jeopardy.
"I think we always (examine timelines)," Moseley expressed. "That can change day-to-day, but I trust everyone around the building that when that time is right, I'll be out there. I can't wait."
During camp, two undrafted free agents defensive backs have stood out, as Starling Thomas V and Steven Gilmore have caught the attention of the coaching staff and several teammates.
"There's great talent," Moseley said. "We got a lot of playmakers back there, a lot of confident guys. I think this could be a really good run."
