Lions' Week 15 Inactive List

The Detroit Lions are current five-point betting favorites to defeat the Denver Broncos at Ford Field.

With up to four starters listed as questionable on Thursday's injury report, the Lions enter a crucial Week 15 contest relatively healthy.

Frank Ragnow, Taylor Decker, Josh Reynolds and Benito Jones are all available to take on a surging Broncos team, which is seeking to with its eighth game of the season after starting the 2023 season with a 1-5 mark.

Despite the defense giving up more points the past few games, Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn remains confident in his squad's run defense not allowing touchdowns from outside the red zone.

"All the things that people really don't talk about. For example, these sudden changes that happen, that's a real thing in this league, and I think we're one of the better teams in that situation," Glenn said. "We do everything we can to get the ball back to our offense. The second thing is our run defense. Our run defense is still running at a high level. Our ability to not allow touchdowns at a higher rate from outside our red zone.

"The things that I make sure to point out to our players, the things we want to do, make sure we look at those things and the things we're not good at and continue to try to improve our mistakes," Glenn commented further. "The one thing I thought we improved at from last week is our red zone, and that's one of the issues that we've had all year. If we continue to improve the way we improved last week, I think we'll be all good."

With Riley Patterson being inactive, the team now turns to Michael Badgley to handle the kicking duties.

Patterson did not appear on the injury report this week, so the team likely wanted to have an active kicker with slightly more range, given the game could come down to a deep field goal try in the fourth quarter.
