Spread & Over/Under Predictions for Panthers vs. Seahawks

Each week, we at All Panthers will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Carolina Panther games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Spread: Seahawks -6.5

2 Star play on the Panthers covering: The Seahawks have covered just two of their last eleven games and have done so just once in their last six home contests. Even with the uncertainty of the quarterback position for Carolina, I like the Panthers to cover the near touchdown spread on the road. The defense has played well and will keep them in this one all the way to the end.

Over/Under: 41.5

2 Star play on the under: My projected total for this game is 41, so I'm a little on the fence here. That said, there's no way in God's green Earth I'm playing a Panthers over right now. The offense hasn't shown anything and on the other side, the defense has been fairly stout. For good measure, five of the last seven Seahawk games have stayed under the number while both Panther games this season saw the under cash.
