The New England Patriots conducted a trade. They traded pick 212 and pick 213 to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for pick 182. With the 182nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots selected Michigan offensive lineman Michael Onwenu.

At 6-foot-3, 340 pounds, Onwenu has the NFL size and strength. But his lack of athleticism is what has him falling to Day 3 of the draft. He has the ability right off the bat to play a reserve role in New England's offensive line unit, which was a unit that was struck with the injury bug last season and struggled overall because of a lack of depth.

Onwenu started at right guard in all 26 games over the past two seasons at Michigan. He was named to Pro Football Focus' All-Big Ten Team on offense last season (second team).
