Seahawks Prevail Over Rams to Punch Ticket to Super Bowl LX

In Round 3 of the Rams-Seahawks series, Seattle's passing game proved to be the difference.

Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba powered the Seahawks' offense in a 31–27 win to send Seattle to the Super Bowl for the first time in 11 years. There, the Seahawks will take on the Patriots in a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX.

Darnold completed 25 of 36 pass attempts for 346 yards and three scores, while Smith-Njigba hauled in 10 catches for 153 yards and a touchdown. The duo went toe-to-toe with Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua, who both shined in defeat.

The Rams had a chance to score a go-ahead touchdown with under five minutes to play, but were turned away after reaching the Seattle 6-yard line for a turnover on downs. The Seahawks bled nearly the entire clock from there, sealing the victory after the Rams' last-gasp drive failed to get past midfield.
