At the NFL Owners' Meetings in Orlando last week, Antonio Pierce spoke about cornerback Jack Jones, "Before I brought Jack [Jones] in, I went to some of our leaders on defense and explained to them who Jack Jones is and what we need to do. I said the first thing we need to do, we've got to put our arms around him, love him up, but also hold him accountable so that when he screws up, we're going to check him. And we did just that, and Jack has known me for a long time that if he screws up, he knows he's going to get a whole different wrath of AP, but it's good to see our leaders like Maxx [Crosby], Marcus Epps right away go to him and grab him when there's something going on either in the locker room or on the field, 'Hey young buck, calm down, we're going to be good.' That's what you don't see enough of in this league. That peer pressure is bigger than anything else you can do. I could do it all day as a coach, but when those 11 men on the field do it together, that's a different animal."

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently have the No. 13 overall pick.
