Raiders' Maxx Crosby Situation Has Shocked Even 1 SB-Winning Coach

A NFL head coach talked about the whole Raiders, Maxx Crosby trade situation at the NFL League Meeting.

This week, the National Football League held its annual league meetings. This is where all the teams' front office people get together to discuss things that are happening around the league, and if there are rule changes they want to make, this is where they get them done.

Head coaches are there, and we get to hear from them and the go around months before the start of the season.

It has been a topic to discuss because it could change the landscape of how deals get done in the future involving any teams. That was big across the league, and it was something that had to be asked about in the league meetings earlier this week.

We heard from one top head coach about the whole situation with the Las Vegas Raiders and Maxx Crosby trade that did not come about with the Baltimore Ravens, and there was plenty of shock.

NFL Head Coach Speaks on Maxx Crosby's Trade Fall Through

"It was shocking because of the magnitude of the trade in terms of what they gave up, the caliber of player that Maxx Crosby has been. It is a unique set of circumstances that kind of came about," said Rams head coach Sean McVay. "And then you feel for people that are affected, you know, because you still see a guy that is a total dog in Maxx Crosby ... But I was shocked."

The Raiders were trading Crosby to the Ravens in exchange for two first-round picks. A few days went by, and the Ravens got Crosby in the building to get his physical done, and they did not like what they saw, and they backed out of the trade, sending Crosby back to the Raiders. It was a situation like no other because it involved a top star and the best defensive player in Crosby. That is something you do not see often and with a top player.

Crosby is now focused on being a Raider and letting it be known what really went down when he went to Baltimore. Crosby knows he is supposed to be where he is and that everything happens for a reason. He wanted to be a Raider for life and now has a second chance at doing that.

Crosby wants to help get things going in the right direction next season, and he is ready to come back and be the best version of himself that the NFL has ever seen in his career.
