Crosby, White Discuss Aligning with Success

It’s no secret that Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby is a massive UFC fan.

Crosby has attended several UFC fights and has grown close with UFC president Dana White. He has discussed UFC fights on his podcast, "The Rush with Maxx Crosby," with his co-hosts and has even sparred with former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland.

Crosby has begun to venture into the business side of the NFL as his stardom has expanded off the field. To be successful, he wants to surround himself with people who will help him do that.

White joined Crosby on the latest episode of the podcast, and the two talked about aligning themselves with successful people.

“I align myself with people who I want to be around and people who I want to do business with,” White said. “At the end of the day, I’ve built these relationships in my life, like Maxx. Maxx went on the road with us a few times now to different cities, different countries, and we’ve hung out.”

White went on to say networking with like-minded people can create cyclical success.

“I’m lucky that I get to align myself with other people that, like we were talking earlier, are motivated and want to win and want to do things, and we all learn from each other, we all help each other and have each other’s backs in things that we’re working on, and it’s the best,” White said.

While White has been victorious financially with all his different business adventures, creating a community and a network, he enjoys matters much more.

“It’s fun," White said. "It’s not like work. I’m hanging around people who I actually like and enjoy and want to do business with. I’ve been saying this, it started on the Theo Von Podcast. I don’t give a s— about the money anymore. I want to align myself with people who think like me, and we can be friends, we can do business, we can have fun, and money is just a byproduct of all that stuff.”

Crosby’s relationship with White has helped him pursue his different business ventures and inspired him to be successful. As Crosby surrounds himself with successful people, he becomes more successful, which is White's point.

Raider Nation hopes Crosby’s success will expand throughout the locker room and he can bring a Lombardi Trophy back to the Raiders.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
