In this story:

HENDERSON, Nev.--In our latest episode of the Las Vegas Raiders Insider podcast, we continue our popular series of looking at specific position groups and closely examining each one.

Make sure you watch our latest episode below:

We start with the wide receiver corps. I expect the Raiders to keep five at this position, as they did last year. The most significant question mark is what will happen with Hunter Renfrow?

The Raiders have no desire to let him go, and they won't.  But they would trade him for the right price. We take a long look at this group:

1. WR Tre Tucker*

2. WR Davante Adams

3. WR Jakobi Meyers

4. WR DeAndre Carter

5. WR Hunter Renfrow OR Phillip Dorsett

The next position that we take a look at is the linebacker. I expect the Raiders to keep five players at linebacker, as they did last season. The five I project are as follows:

1. LB Drake Thomas+

2. LB Robert Spillane

3. LB Amari Burney*

4. LB Divine Diablo

5. LB Luke Masterson

The last group that we look at is the defensive backfield.

The aforementioned defensive backfield was terrible last season. The Raiders have brought in a massive amount of new talent via free agency and the NFL Draft.

This group will be considerably better and has been upgraded from last season.

1. CB CB Jakorian Bennett*

2. CB Brandon Facyson

3. CB Duke Shelley

4. CB David Long

5. CB Nate Hobbs

6. CB Sam Webb OR Amik Robertson

7. S Trevon Moehrig

8. S Chris Smith*

9. S Marcus Epps

10. S Jaquan Johnson

11. S Roderick Teamer

I expect the Raiders to keep five safeties and six cornerbacks, as they did last season.

The Las Vegas Raiders open training camp for the entire team on July 25, 2023.

The Silver and Black open the preseason by hosting the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT.
