Rams Sign Former All-Pro CB Tre'Davious White

The Los Angeles Rams gave their secondary a shot in the arm with the addition of former Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White.

The Los Angeles Rams have signed former All-Pro cornerback Tre'Davious White to a one-year, $8.5 million deal with a maximum value of $10 million, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

White, 29, has spent his entire career to this point with the Buffalo Bills. In his seven seasons with the Bills, White recorded 311 total tackles, 68 passes defended and 18 interceptions. He earned back-to-back Pro Bowl selections in 2019 and 2020, as well as a first-team All-Pro nod in the former year.

Unfortunately, injuries have derailed White's career over the past few years. His injury woes began with a torn ACL during a 2021 Thanksgiving game, which also caused him to miss most of the 2022 season as he recovered. Then just four games into the 2023 season, White tragically suffered a torn Achilles tendon that kept him out the rest of the way.

After two brutal injuries in three years, the Bills released White earlier this month to get out of a brutal cap crunch.

Cornerback, and the secondary as a whole, was a major need for the Rams this offseason, and if White can stay healthy, he could be a huge addition to the back end of the defense.
