Ravens Rival QB Deshaun Watson Injury Rehab Progressing For Browns

In this story:
Last season, Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson injured his shoulder in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans, then again in Week 7 vs. the Indianapolis Colts.
He re-injured it in Week 10 against the Baltimore Ravens and was shut down for the rest of the season, diagnosed with a rotator cuff injury and a scapula fracture.
On Wednesday, Browns coach Kevin Stefanski updated the media on Watson's recovery and rehab.
“He’s coming along. I know he’s going to start throwing here shortly,” Stefanski said. “Ken [Dorsey] and I are going to go out and see him next week and spend some time — not talk football, just catch up.
"Won’t see him throw. But just want to check in on him. I text him almost every day, so he’s in a good place.”
The Browns have a new offensive coordinator in Ken Dorsey, but because offseason workouts have not yet begun, they can't talk scheme with Watson yet.

But Stefanski did indicate that he and Dorsey will discuss as much of the new-ish offense as they can when the time comes.
The Browns finished 11-6 last season behind the arm of former Ravens Super Bowl-winning quarterback Joe Flacco but were ousted by the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
