Rashod Bateman Excited for 'Very Different' Ravens Offense

In this story:
Baltimore receiver Rashod Bateman is making good progress from a Lisfranc injury that ended his season last year and states that he feels 99 percent. With Todd Monken bringing his new vertical-style offense to Baltimore, after years of being a run-dominant offense, things are changing for the Ravens...but in a good way.
As Bateman is now a full participant in practice, he loves the new ideas and schemes that Monken is implementing. “I love it, it’s very different,” Bateman said. “I don’t want to say too much, you know, hopefully, some good things this season for sure.”
There haven't been many question marks surrounding the Ravens offense heading into the season, but one has been whether will there be enough balls to go around. With a star-studded offense that includes Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers, Mark Andrews, Nelson Agholor, Bateman, and Devin Duvernay, someone could miss out on any given day.
For some teams, that might create a little unrest, but in Bateman's case, the offense is all moving in one direction, and he isn't worried about his targets...he just wants a ring. “I’m here to see just like y’all,” Bateman said. “I’m going to see how we going to do it, I just want to be there when everybody gets their ring, I don’t care who got that many catches and touches, I just want to be part of something big.”
That something big for Ravens fans means a Super Bowl. Having a stout defense under Mike MacDonald and if Monken's offense works the way many hope, Baltimore will be one team that can usurp the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC.
While a single down hasn't been played yet, the positive vibes are reverberating around the organization, and optimism is high. It now just has to translate to the regular season.
