The Baltimore Ravens secondary has been one of the best in the NFL, and part of that is thanks to the play from safety Geno Stone.

Stone, 24, has dazzled in his fourth season with the Ravens. As a former seventh-round pick, Stone has worked his way up the depth chart and is proving to be a key player for Baltimore's defense.

ESPN believes Stone has the best coverage discipline out of any defensive back in the league.

"Stone has six interceptions this season, the second most in the league, and he makes a lot of plays because of his alignment/assignment discipline in the secondary," ESPN writes. "He gets to his landmark, identifies the concept and plays within the structure of the defense."

Stone is having his best season to date, recording 57 tackles and six interceptions, both career-highs. He has also started nine games for the Ravens this year, more than his first three seasons combined.

Is Ravens QB Lamar Jackson A True Leader?

As the Ravens come down the stretch here, the secondary is going to have to face some real high-octane offenses, and Stone will have to play up to his standards if Baltimore wants to clinch the No. 1 seed going into the playoffs.

The Ravens are back in action on the road Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers. Kickoff on Christmas Day is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET.
