Seattle Seahawks 2024 Win Total Projected to be Less Than Last Season per DraftKings

The Seattle Seahawks hope to rebound from two consecutive 9-8 seasons while beginning a new era under coach Mike Macdonald and staff.

After finishing 2020 at 12-4 and a Wild Card loss to the division rival Los Angeles Rams, the Seattle Seahawks responded with a 7-10 mark the next season and missed out on the playoffs. The last two campaigns have seen 9-8 records and another Wild Card loss in 2022 - to another division rival in the San Francisco 49ers.

It's already brought big changes. Out is longtime head coach and Seahawks legend, Pete Carroll, replaced by former Baltimore Ravens defensive mastermind Mike Macdonald.

Against that and other backdrops in Renton, DraftKings Sportsbook released Seattle's projected over/under win totals for the upcoming NFL season. The Seahawks have a predicted over/under win total of 7.5 alongside the Saints.

The division rival Rams are listed just barely better at 8.5 along with the Bears, Browns, Colts, Jaguars, Chargers, Steelers and Buccaneers. The Cardinals are grouped with the Commanders, Vikings, Raiders, Giants and Titans at over/under 6.5 wins.

Per DraftKings, the teams with the best-predicted win totals are the two participants in February's Super Bowl, San Francisco and Kansas City, and the loser of last season's AFC Championship game, the Ravens.

The two teams projected to have the NFL’s worst records are the Panthers and Patriots, at over/under 4.5 wins.
