With the No. 5 overall pick in the NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select ...

As goes for most teams, nobody quite knows yet. The Seahawks could be the wildcard selection out of the top five, especially if the Arizona Cardinals trade down from the No. 3 pick and allow a team looking for its future quarterback to draft one.

Despite talk of potentially using one of their two picks to select a quarterback, drafting a defensive lineman seems to be the consensus projection among mock drafts. It's just a matter of which choice the Seahawks want to make.

But the decision seems easy for former NFL quarterback and current analyst for Fox Sports, Brock Huard, who is rallying around the idea of the Seahawks trading up.

“Five and 37 for Will Anderson? Not even a question mark,” Huard said on a recent edition of Brock and Salk on Seattle Sports. “5 and 20 for Will Anderson? To me, not a question mark.”

Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter seems like the most likely player Seattle could go with at No. 5. Anderson may be just out of range if the Cardinals don't trade down.

So, why does Huard find it important that the Seahawks trade up and get Anderson instead of staying put and potentially seeing Carter fall into their lap?

He believes that there isn't much of a difference in the type of player the Seahawks could land at picks 20 and 37. So instead of adding another starter or two, Huard wants the "generational talent" in Anderson.

“It’s 6 foot 3, it’s 250, it’s running 4.6, it’s being unblockable, it’s having move after move, it’s having feel, it’s having bend,” Huard said of Anderson. "… I don’t know [what more you could want]."

Anderson racked up 58.5 sacks in just three seasons in Tuscaloosa, quickly becoming one of the most disruptive players in all of college football.

The Seahawks came into the offseason with a plan of getting better upfront defensively, and it seems they can't go wrong with either Anderson or Carter.
