In this story:

MOBILE -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are spending the week down in Mobile, Alabama to scout this year's top senior class headed to the NFL Draft. And after Day 1, head coach Mike Tomlin is making it somewhat obvious where he's looking for top prospects.

The Senior Bowl has plenty of bigger names on hand at a number of positions. The Steelers could find inside linebackers, edge rushers, cornerbacks and even offensive skill positions. Where they're spending their time - or at least where their head coach is spending his time - is with the big men, though.

"He said he likes watching the big guys because that's where all the action is happening," Tomlin said to Florida tackle O'Cyrus Torrence. "No offense to the little guys. ... He just likes the physicality."

Tomlin spent most of individual drills during the National Team's practice watching the offensive linemen. He then returned for o-line versus d-line during the American Team's field time. And when the group met for some offense versus defensive runs, who was right in the middle of the group chalking it up with big men waiting to go in? Mike Tomlin.

Through the first day, the Steelers have met with practically every offensive linemen All Steelers has spoken to. Most players at the event will meet with all 16 teams, but Pittsburgh spending the early part of their week interviewing blockers holds some significance.

The Steelers will likely obverse every position of need in Mobile. Senior defensive assistant Brian Flores watched the defense for both teams all throughout practice, as did general manager Omar Khan.

Sometimes, though, the head coach's eyes are the ones to watch. Tomlin showed clear interest in the quarterbacks last year, and Najee Harris the year before that. This year, with questions to the left side of the offensive line, it seems like linemen are the position he has his eyes on.
