NASHVILLE - Our Tennessee Titans roster rundown continues today as we move to the offensive line, where much of the pressure of the coming season rests on this group's ability to form a cohesive unit quickly and improve on the disaster that was the offensive line last season.

WHAT WE KNOW

The starting unit was mostly set and settled, that was until the six-game suspension of Nicholas Petite-Frere for violating the NFL's gambling rules when he placed an online bet from inside the Titans facility. Yes, I'm not a fan of this rule, but it is one, and he knew or should have known it, and he broke it. Now he and the team will pay the price.

STARTING LINEUP

Left Tackle: Andre Dillard- The former first-round draft pick of the Eagles joined the Titans as a free agent, where he will get the opportunity to protect the blindside of Ryan Tannehill. While Dillard could not secure a regular starting role in Philadelphia, the physical attributes are there, and he looked good during the offseason program, though admittedly, it's easier to look good in shorts. The real test comes when games begin.

Left Guard: Peter Skoronski- The rookie first-rounder stepped into this spot from almost the moment his introductory press conference ended. While he will likely face the learning curve most rookies go through as they adjust to life in the NFL, he must continue to work to improve his techniques, but his strength and ability were on display during the minicamp.

Center: Aaron Brewer- Though somewhat undersized, the reviews from Titans offensive line coach Jason Houghtaling suggest Brewer has worked tirelessly (you can see the physical improvement he's made in the weight room) at improving his technique and is growing into a leadership role, both among the offensive line, but also a growing presence with the rest of the team as well.

Right Guard: Daniel Brunskill- The free agent addition who, like Dillard, never found a regular starting role in San Francisco but was a valuable part of their team, given his versatility and ability to play all five positions on the line. As a Titan, Brunskill will get the opportunity to become a regular starter and must step up quickly if this unit is to improve this season.

Right Tackle: Unknown- While Petite-Frere will likely be the man here when he returns from his six-game suspension, the question to who will be the starter on September 10, when the Titans travel to New Orleans for the season opener. Considering the timing of the suspension, during the dead period between minicamp and training camp, it's anyone's guess who the Titan staff might be targeting to fill the void initially.

THE ROSTER

Jaelyn Duncan, Jamarco Jones, Corey Levin, Jordan Roos, Andrew Rupcich, Zach Johnson, James Empey, John Ojukwo, John Leglue, Dillon Radunz-Injured Reserve

THE REST

Duncan, Jones, and Levin seem locks, and Radunz would also be if not for his injury, as he will begin the season on injured reserve. That means there is likely one place open for one of the others to find a spot on the initial 53-man roster.

Of course, there is the possibility that the front office could decide to add a free agent addition to this unit to fill the right tackle situation in the short term.
