DeAndre Hopkins Promises to Help Any WRs on Future Team in Tweet

In this story:
NASHVILLE — As the Tennessee Titans continue their pursuit of DeAndre Hopkins, any public comments made will be examined and will cause reaction. We saw that happen on Tuesday with one simple Hopkins tweet.
Hopkins doesn't give us much in terms of hints on where he might be playing in 2023, but he does make a fantastic point that highlights his value. Hopkins is obviously a great player on his own, but his presence can have a positive trickle-down effect on the rest of his teammates, specifically at receiver.
Hopkins is going to be particularly correct about the Titans' receivers. Right now, outside of Treylon Burks, the Titans don't have any receiver the defense would even care to mention in a game-planning meeting. No one to have even the slightest concern about.
The obvious issue is that will result in excessive attention going towards Burks. If defenses simply focus on shutting Burks down, the Titans have no where else to go. That would quickly change with the addition of Hopkins.
With Hopkins, teams would be forced to divert the bulk of their attention to him. Safeties would roll and corners would cheat Hopkins way. I mean, it is DeAndre Hopkins after all. If Burks, who looks to be ready to take a major step this season, wasn't the the primary attention-getter, it would create real chances for him to dominate.
We saw Burks have some flashes of greatness last year. He was a rookie, wasn't in the shape he is now and was the focal point of opposing pass defenses. Being in year two, being in much better shape and getting to be the second option in the passing game could take Burks to a level even if his biggest supporters aren't expecting.
That's just Burks too. Again, this impact would trickle down past Burks to players like Kyle Philips and Chris Moore. It would slot everyone more appropriately based on their talent. Not only would Hopkins help the receivers, but it would help the entire team in the long run.
