Titans Fans, Let's Wait To Begin The Freak Out

In this story:
NASHVILLE- The legal tampering period begins at noon today. While new Tennessee Titans general manager Ran Carthon may make a move right away, the likelihood is that we might not hear any news from the team on day one.
If that happens again this year, we will be bombarded by fans and their annual freak out that the general manager and the team aren't doing anything and need to be fired.
Don't laugh; it happens every year, and all you have to do is search Titans fans on social media, particularly Twitter, to find those diehards who live and breathe for this team and who want all the top players signed in the first hour.
We here at AllTitans are just as anxious as fans to see who the Titans sign, as it gives us more actual news to report, but we must all be patient to allow the team to work through this process according to the plan they've likely put in place for this process.
At the same time, it might be wise to temper expectations as to signing multiple big ticket players, especially early. For a team with so many glaring holes to fill, it seems illogical to think that the Titans will be going for the top-level guys at more than one or two positions at most.
It seems more likely that they will spend wisely, filling holes with some one-year deals for midlevel players that can help hold the line for a season as the team finds themselves with more cap space and another draft class to come in 2024.
No, I'm advocating for the Titans to tank, but with the number of roster holes to fill, it doesn't seem highly likely that they can fill them all with enough guys to make this team a contender this season.
So hold off on losing your minds if we don't hear anything on Monday, it will all work out, and the Titans will field a team come August.
After all, winning in March means nothing.
