Titans' Stacked Wide Receiver Room Finally Garnering National Media Attention

In this story:
The Tennessee Titans revamped multiple position groups this offseason, including wide receiver. The team's marquee additions, rookie Carnell Tate and veteran Wan'Dale Robinson, headline the new-look room.
Tennessee failed to sustain a consistent passing attack last season, and though the receivers weren't the main issue, they also struggled to create separation. As a result, quarterback Cam Ward threw for just 3,169 yards and 15 touchdowns.
The Titans' passing offense, especially the receiver room, is poised for improvement in 2026, and ESPN is finally taking notice.
Titans Slotted at No. 14 in ESPN Receiver Room Rankings, Named Unit to Watch in 2026

ESPN's Mike Clay recently ranked every position group in the NFL ahead of the 2026 season, and he had the Titans' receiver room at No. 14 among other teams' groups. Clay also listed Tennessee as the unit to watch this year after general manager Mike Borgonzi invested significant resources into the position.
It's been a while since the Titans have had this deep of a receiver room heading into the regular season. Tate and Calvin Ridley are penciled in as the starters on the perimeter with Robinson in the slot. For depth, the Titans have Elic Ayomanor, who posted a promising rookie campaign and is having a terrific training camp, and Chimere Dike, who was a first-team All-Pro punt returner and also had four receiving touchdowns.
If Tate develops quickly, Ridley looks like his normal self after the fibula injury last year, and Robinson continues to flourish in offensive coordinator Brian Daboll's system, the Titans could have one of the most versatile receiver trios in the league, capable of carrying the offense.
However, we can't count out Ayomanor and Dike also making impacts in the receiving game, especially Ayomanor, who is already catching up to Ridley for the starting spot. Dike is likely locked in as a depth piece, but he'll have a prominent role on special teams anyway.
Overall, Tennessee's receiver group is one everyone around the league must keep tabs on this season. They have the potential to be a top-flight unit in 2026.
