The agreement signals 10 years of labor peace, an increased share in revenue for players, an expansion to a 17-game regular season, and new drug policies. The vote was nearly split with 1019 players voting yes and 959 players voting no. The new CBA also allows for higher minimum salaries and more benefits for retired players.
