Washington has the No.2 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft and most mock drafts have them selecting former Ohio State defensive end Chase Young, arguably the most talented player in the draft. SI’s Michael Rosenberg believes as great a prospect as Young is, Washington should strongly consider taking a quarterback. Rosenberg highlights that a quarterback is the most essential part of a team’s success and although the team selected Dwayne Haskins last season, if they believe Tua Tagovailoa or Justin Herbert are better than him, they should consider drafting either of the two.
