The NFL announced on Tuesday that they will join other sports leagues in putting social justice messages on the playing field this season.

NFL Commissioner Rodger Goodell said on a conference call that the league will stencil “End racism” and “It takes all of us” in the end zones at each stadium this fall.

He also shared that, “The NFL stands with the black community, the players, clubs, and fans confronting systemic racism. We will not relent in our work.”

The NFL will also honor essential workers who have helped fight the COVID-19 pandemic with messaging.

The NFL season kicks off on Thursday, September 10 as the reigning Super Bowl Champions the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Houston Texans.
