DeShaun Watson's $160 million extension make him second-highest paid player behind Patrick Mahomes

The Houston Texas are finalizing a four-year, $160 million contract extension with quarterback DeShaun Watson.

Watson had 2 years left on his rookie deal but with the extension, he will now remain in Houston until 2025. Watsons $39 million per-year-average in new money makes him the second-highest paid player in NFL history just behind Patrick Mahomes.
