Coyotes' Daniel Carcillo gets two-game ban

Phoenix Coyotes left wing Daniel Carcillo has been suspended for two games without pay for a fight during Wednesday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Carcillo will forfeit $9,610.22, the NHL said Friday.

In the second period, Carcillo came off the bench and fought the Blackhawks' Ben Eager.

Carcillo was set to miss Friday's game at Ottawa and Saturday at Montreal.

He will be eligible to return Oct. 23 against the Washington Capitals.
