CHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago Blackhawks wing Adam Burish will be out for six months following surgery on his right knee.

The team's physician, Dr. Michael Terry, said Burish suffered a torn ACL in his right knee during a preseason game Sunday against Minnesota. He said the team expects Burish to make a complete recovery.

The 26-year-old Burish has 309 penalty minutes, 10 goals and seven assists in 156 regular-season games over the last three years with Chicago.
