Tampa Bay's Richard Panik suspended two games for boarding
NEW YORK (AP) -- Tampa Bay forward Richard Panik was suspended for two games without pay by the NHL for boarding Washington defenseman Karl Alzner.
Panik was given a major penalty for boarding in the second period of the Lightning's shootout loss Tuesday night in Washington. The suspension will cost him $7,590.
