Niklas Backstrom had surgery in Philadelphia on Tuesday on a core muscle injury, and he has not played since January 30.

Zucker, one of the fastest skaters in the Wild organization, had surgery Tuesday to repair a tendon in his left quadriceps. He had four goals and an assist in 21 games this season and is expected to be ready for next season as well.
